Discoveries

I get a thrill every time I stumble upon one of these, down laneways, in corners, behind poles and posts I dont know if the artists know each other, are the same person even.  There are also the remotes and mobile phones.  Always makes me smile, anyway, like I am the most clever detective in the whole world...

Just crossed paths in the rain in an alley with a fellow flasher - cordial smiles and quiet curiosity ... And just a little excitement

Lovin the love

This has been the most pleasurable start to many a day in the last few months, Kaff-eine, and caffeine, combined with a stroll in the sun. http://kaffeinestreetartist.wordpress.com/

Prize Finds ... all in a days work

By chance I turned left, then saw a long laneway that I thought would link to a road. It didn't but it did direct me to the most obscurely located pasting I have ever seen

He takes a photo of me taking a photo of him

Mishap so graceful

I literally said 'wow' out loud. A good kilometer away from previous cluster in a non discript lane way free or tags or the frequent trifecta or everfresh, gp and other interesting artist Y. Just a plain rarely trodden laneway and here was I striking gold. Ace !!!

So excited 'bout a Kaff-eine hit - in a Rabbit Warren laneway, who'da known!  Post image soon

Not sure what happened here - not as contrived as Tracey Emin. It's a bit too real, a laneway full of old furniture, begging for social commentary but only by fluke of being there. Conclusion: probably some lazy buggers who couldn't be stuffed going to the tip.

Doing Poetry

This is clever, makes me pause for thought, and indeed think, then walk for a while and remember poetry that I used to know well

I loved this instantly

The placement across vibrant color makes this

Graffiti as politics in action (or vandalism through the wrong glasses)

I have recently been walking past some anti-establishment neonazi graffiti I am loathe to give any credence to, being such hatred inciting shit.  A voice for those discriminated against?  The artist says the work has no religion, and I am an atheist, but feel comforted by the work, like its giving the bird to bigotry...
