I don't play Candy Crush!
I don't sign petitions
I am not going to 'like' your page just because you ask me tooI am gonna wank on about Precious Little Precious Few Precious just fucking wow ! Cos there is talent right there
I am not going to your event in Germany, France, Belgium, England or Italy - so don't invite me. And select people to invite rather than block inviting. Do you even know where Australia is ? Seriously Bro's!!!
And I sure as fuck have no desire to play fucking Candy Crush.
I just wanna take good pictures and talk about street art and graffiti and bottles and cans ...
Okay and I also wanna crap on about Australian Politics, feminism, queer politics, anarchism, world peace and my dog
But NO Fucking Candy Crush!!!!!!

Chapter Two
I stood below, coffee secure this time, dog tentative. The light was on, but the window wasn't open. Lord Preshington, where were you? Knowing how dashing houndstooth is on you, and feverishly excited to get my hands on your Apparel, I will wait again, hoping, someday, somehow, some way...

Presh
There I was on the block, at the lights, dog sitting nicely and Eminem blasting through shitty earplugs. Dont smirk he is a modern poetic genius.
So yeah Marshall was running out of Backstreet Boys and suddenly from a building above this handsome devil waved, those curls cascading in slow mo, the double denim half on, smile as broad as Texas.
I was so excited that I dropped my coffee. It splattered all over the dog who was suddenly not able to sit.
Ah what a moment. That window, that Precious Angel.

(R)evolution
What a week in street. I must start this post with a shout back at the good Snyder, who has seen us through rose colored frames at a time we have needed it the most. An awesome post. Everything on me is crossed for a solo show over here. Okay enough pissing in that pocket.
I give a nod to those who contacted me following my last post and reminded me of the importance of evolution. I have paused on this idea all week and come to this conclusion: that response is part of the evolution. Action:Reaction. Think "Fuck off Toy", "Not Your Wall", "Art Fag", "You Sold Our Lifestyle Out" and "Only Tools don't leave Tags".
The pics I have chosen for this post are from the 'white wall' . It began with an Urban Cake Lady. Then followed I and the Others. Next came Kaff-eine, Ishi One, Shida, Klara, Ruskidd, Precious, s701A, Frankie and Sikel Fried. This was followed with a spectacular tag and 2 Baby Grrls. More recently it has seen the arrival of Bubbles, Burg and Yoka Boka and at around the same time a heavy critique by capping. It's like the wall expanded beyond its capacity and popped. Evolution, (r)evolution.

The Sprawl
The Urban Scrawl crew TigTab, Blacklodge, Kaff-Eine and Precious have mastered the art of anticipation. The Blacklodge teasers have been too good!!! I cannot WAIT for this exhibition (check the Fb link if you still don't know what I am talking about). So I am not sure I can articulate the thrill I received yesterday when I followed the Claw and along the way, found a trail of Urban Scrawl magnets. I stopped myself from collecting them, because I wanted to write this post, so that others may discover. I found about 20 of these, I am sure there are more. I do have a few on my fridge though. I have photographed each find but I will just give you a few. My suggestion is s look for anything metal down the lanes, maybe a couple near previous Kaff-Eine and Precious collab, the rest scattered. As tempting as it is to say more, I refrain...

Hot Stuff 2011
Too many things to mention here - 2011 in Street Art internationally has been huge and locally I swell with pride. Like Violet and My Darling Darlinghurst, I keep loving Fitzroy more every day.
The Juddy Roller opened and bought us local interstate and international artists...
Makatron did some huge and awesome commissions everywhere, among other things like exhibitions...
Love, truth, hope, these words appeared and stayed...unknown artist...
Kaff-eine came into our hearts with paste ups, and is now captivating us in aerosol and house paint. Literally, and metaphorically getting bigger and bigger...
Precious little demonstrated more than a talent for words, with an innate capacity for total awesome genius with the Ironlak
Klara exploded in bombings on the streets and with Urbex adventures bringing us truly stellar pieces, Sikel Freid proved to be a master of line, and Ishi One proved to be a master of wheatpaste. I have run out of space to include photo's but if I keep going along those lines it is Doctor, Suki, Be Free, Freshchop...Civil, Barek...
The AV crue remained prolific, as did Flies crew
Grizzly opened to balance the other side of Fitzroy with big names and bigger coffee and Vetti blogged about it first
Waa Waa paid us a visit
Taggers kept tagging, love them or loathe them, and I love them..Osirus being everwhere
Cave Clan did the most hilarious bombing, rivaled only by Lush, and it is most true that Stickers are the new black (along with street art cafes)..
So there are a thousand photos I could show you still, here are a few more...The Dead Sets from the Hard Rubbish Show still make me laugh...and I have acquired some of them as well...
Oh Yeah, Flake remains an all time Fav...
